Hello! I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at Texas A&M University, focusing on political theory. I write about constitutional theory, with special attention to the institutional implications of differing philosophical and religious foundations. I approach political theory from both historical and normative perspectives. In my dissertation, I describe and evaluate the political theology and constitutional theory of scholars associated with Islamic modernism. I also contribute essays to a number of publications for a broad audience about public affairs.
I graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a B.A. in History Pre-law and obtained an M.P.P. from the Pepperdine School of Public Policy.
